Movie and Pizza Night
On Tuesday 20th December Explorer Scouts from Cloughfern, Islandmagee and Whitehouseattended a Movie and Pizza Night at Cloughfern Scout Hall. This was a very informal,
entertaining and enjoyable evening watching Mean Machine while eating lots of crisps, popcorn,
chocolate and of course some pizza. The Explorers had the opportunity to get to know one another and
also discussed the sort of events they would like to organise for the District at least once a month,
such as go-karting, camping, water sports etc.
Thanks to 1st Cloughfern for the use of their hall and we look forward to having more events
with more Explorers in the coming months.
Upcoming Events
Due to exams in January the Explorers are hoping to get together some night in February to test their driving skills,
Go-karting at Need 4 Speed in Doagh. Details to follow in the next edition of Greenseas and at the next District Leaders' Meeting.
They are also keen to go camping over the Easter holidays so watch this space for more information nearer the time.
