Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scouting Movement to hike-walk together.
All Scouts-Explorers whatever their age and wherever they may be in the World, are invited to participate
in whatever way they can. Cubs-Beavers from the younger sections could visit a local nature trail as part of
a weekend camp or plan a to go on a hike or walk on the Saturday. A Scout Troop or Explorer Unit might check out a hiking trail
while working on a badge or stay over night under canvas. In their own way everyone will be hiking-walking
the same direction towards a better future through Scouting.

JOTT is held on the second Saturday of May being the 12th May, it would be nice to see more involvement
from the District and further to increase our numbers from last year and commitment form Northern Ireland to
this International event held every year. I will follow the registration on line with interest.

Enclosed is a registration form with address-PP and cost of the badges. Also an on line survey if you could take
the time to fill it in and return.

I have enclosed the badge design for this year and it looks okay, I’ve also been informed that the size
has been reduce this year, all badge orders will need to be in by the 31st March to get your badges on time for JOTT
